Bonnita Goodman

Bonita Rose Goodman, 86, Independence, Kansas passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Cremation has taken place.
Bonita was born December 22, 1931 in Caney, Kansas to Earl Cornellis and Edna Mae (Noyes) Kincheloe. She attended Caney, Kansas schools. Bonita married Jack Goodman on July 30, 1948 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma the couple made their home in Monterey Bay, California and were blessed with five children. Along with the couples five children they were foster parents to 44 children over the years. In 1989 the couple retired and moved to Caney, Kansas. Bonita was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was an avid Bible reader. She loved the Lord and her family. Along with raising her own children and foster children Bonita was a caregiver, bus driver, and a seamstress.
Bonita was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Jack; two sons Jack Jr., Michael; three brothers, Dale, Merle, Lloyd; and three sisters, Hazel, Leona and Clara. Survivors include one son, Mark and wife Margie Goodman, Independence, KS; two daughters Joann Marie Goodman, Stanislaus County, CA; Rita Fay Goodman; two daughter in laws Teresa Goodman, Independence, KS, Nina Goodman, Independence, KS; a host of grand and great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and friends. Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
