Clacy Hindle

Clacy Merrietta Hindle, 64, of Eudora, Kansas formally of Caney, Kansas passed away on May 31, 2016 Medicalodges Nursing Facility in Eudora, Kansas. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Webb and Rodrick Chapel and Crematory. Memorial Contributions may be made to Grace Hospice 1420 Wakarusa Drive, Lawrence, KS 66049 or may be left with the Chapel. Clacy was born June 26, 1951 in Independence, Iowa. She grew up in and around the Amish communities in Iowa. Clacy met her husband, Donald, and moved to Kansas after having their daughter in 1993. Clacy worked mostly in the restaurant and retail customer service fields for most of her life, but in 1998 she was forced to retire due to health problems. Clacy leaves behind her husband of 19 years, Donald, one daughter Stephanie and husband David Stipp, Lawrence, Kansas, one son Scott Cornwell, Iowa City, Iowa, one brother, Charles Hoard, Gun Barrel, Texas, and her best friend Valarie Barrett, Buffalo, Missouri. Arrangements entrusted to Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.
