Daniel Stephen Pressler, 63, of Independence, Kansas passed away at his home on Friday, August 16, 2019 after an extended illness. Cremation has taken place and per Daniel’s wishes no services are planned.
Daniel was born on January 31, 1956 in Topeka, Kansas to R. Dean and Marjorie (Kerr) Pressler. He attended and graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka, Kansas. Following graduation Daniel attended lineman school and was employed as a lineman for 35 years working for Par and Capital Electric until his retirement. Daniel married Charlotte Bloomfield on June 25, 2015 in Independence, Kansas. Daniel was a member of the Carson Masonic Lodge in Elk City, Kansas and also a member of IBEW local 304 based in Topeka, Kansas. Daniel enjoyed spending times with his friends and the American Legion and V.F.W along with fishing and was an excellent cook.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Margaret Ann Horton, Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Charlotte of the home, one son, Kendall Pressler, Topeka, Kansas, two step children, Shawn and wife Amy Bloomfield, Independence, Kansas, Kelly Bloomfield-Seepersaid and husband Andy, Dallas, Texas, one sister Jean and husband Frank Gonzales, Topeka, Kansas , two brothers, James and wife Margene Presssler, William and wife Marcene Pressler, both of Topeka, Kansas, five grandchildren, Madison, Cal and Mallory Bloomfield, of Independence, Kansas Tylar and Easton Dougan, Coffeyville, Kansas and one great-grandson, Wesley Horner.
