Jack G. Goodman, Jr., 47, Independence, Kansas passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, October 15, 2015. Celebration of Life Services will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory with burial to follow in Sunnyside Cemetery Caney, Kansas. Friends may register on Monday from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel with the family receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.
Jack was born July 18, 1969 in Carmel, California to Jack G. Sr. and Bonita Rose (Kincheloe) Goodman. He attended and graduated from Carmel Schools before relocating to Kansas where he had been employed as a mechanic. He later was employed in the Natural Gas industry in Texas until his death. Jack met his wife Nina while working as a Mechanic in Independence. Jack loved shooting his gun, he loved music and played the guitar. While in college, Jack trained for the Olympics in Judo and missed his opportunity to go by one bout. Jack loved his children, and was a hard worker, and never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all the people who knew him.
Jack is survived by his wife, Nina of the home, two sons, Cooper 19, and David 23, two daughters, Jordon 26 and Mahria 11, His mother, two brothers, Michael and wife Teresa Goodman, Independence, KS, Mark and wife Kathleen Goodman, Independence, KS a sister Joann Marie, Modesto, CA. Jack was preceded in death by his father. Arrangements by Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.
