Joseph Paul Savage born on July 19, 1979, in Hutchinson, KS, to Kathleen Burdick and Bradford Harrod.
Joe passed from this earth on November 2, 2024, at the age of 45. Joe had one sibling, Taren Jo Savage and a brother-in-law Tyler Hale. He graduated from high school in 1998 from Denair High School, Denair, CA.
Following graduation, he moved to Neodesha, KS, where he bought his first house at age 21. After his father passed away, he was adopted by Darrell Savage. Joe got married and had two children from that union, Ciera Denise Harrod and Emma Kaye Savage.
Joe worked at Neodesha Quality Machine for 21 years as a welder and machinist and LMI Aerospace in Fredonia. Then he worked for Magic Circle running CNC's in Coffeyville, KS. Most recently he worked for Millers Professional Imaging in Pittsburg, KS.
Joe had many hobbies including fast cars, collecting baseball cards, tying fly jigs, throwing stars and knives, raising huskies, cooking, and landscaping. He loved primitive camping and was an avid survivalist. Joe loved music and was a drummer in the following bands, 1 Cut Closer, Stenosis, and Damaged Goods. Shortly after Emma was born he quit so he could be home more. Joe was a member of Bartlesville Challengers Car Club and enjoyed many car shows and cruises with his hellcat.
Joe married again in October 2023 to Jennifer Meek and gained a stepson Harley who enjoyed baseball, drums, cars, and music as much as he did.
Joe loved visiting Galveston, TX, where his Aunt Patti and Frank reside, saying it was his second home. His Aunt Rose and Uncle Rick reside in Quapaw, OK. His uncle Scott resides in Joplin, MO.
Joe and his mom had a very special relationship and most that knew them said they raised each other. Joe and his Grandma Karen also shared a special bond as he has many stories about time on her farm in Tyro, KS.
He has many special aunts, uncles, step parents, cousins, nieces, and nephews and a lot of best friends, and everyone would agree he had a huge squishy heart and was much loved by them.
Joe was preceded in death by his daughter Cierra, Grandma Karen Lehman, Uncle Rick Burdick, Grandpa Paul Burdick, his father Bradford Harrod, his Aunt Judy Vickers, and many friends.
Those loved ones still living will miss him so very much. He was surely one of a kind.
