Joshua Perry

June 9, 1984 — November 11, 2017

Joshua "Josh" Allen Denton Perry, 33, born to William and Teresa (Bray) Davison on June 9, 1984 in Coffeyville, Kansas. He left this earth to be with our father at 1:09 a.m., on November 11, 2017 surrounded by his family and loved ones, while at home. Josh came into this world full of love and happiness. He never met a person that he didn't love or make a friend. He loved everyone and always had a smile on his face. Josh defied all odds.
Josh attended grade school in Cherryvale, Kansas and continued his education in Independence where he graduated from Independence High School in May of 2003. He lived at home with his parents who cared for him for the duration of his life. His home was Independence, Kansas.
Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Orville Woodrow Davidson and Dorothy May (Myers) Davidson; his maternal grandfather, Herman Cyrus Bray; and his nephew Quinton Anderson Westerfield. Survivors include: his parents, William and Teresa (Bray) Davison of the home; Judith Lissetta (Ross) Bray, Cherryvale, Kansas; brothers, Darrell Perry II, Garrett Davison, Shane Perry, Austin Davison, Warren Westerfield, Devin Davison, Jacob Arnold, and Owen Davison; sisters, Kira Reeves, Taren Westerfield, Jessica Westerfield, Crystal Wilson, Christina Grady, Robin McClane, Savannah (Cromwell) Perry, Megan Barrera Davison, and Andrea Rogers. He is also survived by multiple aunts and uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A special thank you to his brother Warren Westerfield and uncles Tony Bray and CY Bray for all you do. He died on Veterans Day for you. He loved and wanted to be an Army man.
A celebration of Josh's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the 4-H building at Riverside Park.
