Linda Joyce Stewart, 76, of Neodesha, Kansas, passed away on October 31, 2023. She was born on December 23, 1946, in Wellington, Kansas. Linda was a beloved member of her community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.

Services to celebrate Linda's life will be announced at a later date. Linda Joyce Stewart will forever be remembered for her kindness, her warm heart, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Linda was a friendly and kind-hearted individual. She had a bit of an ornery side as well, which brought joy and laughter to those around her. Her warm personality and caring nature made her a cherished friend and family member.

She married Rex Stewart on August 12, 1966. They had 2 children, Sherry and Rick.

In her career, Linda ran Linda's Cake Cottage from 1988 to 1991 in Neodesha, Kansas. Her delicious cakes brought joy to many celebrations and special occasions. Linda also loved to color. She found solace and happiness in these hobbies, often sharing her creations with loved ones.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rex Stewart of Neodesha, KS, her parents, Earl and Pearl Lammy of Parsons, KS and her nephew, Brian Lammy of Parsons, KS. She was also preceded by her loyal chihuahua, Gracie, who brought her much comfort and companionship for 18 years.

Linda is survived by her brother, Dean and his wife Naomi Lammy of Parsons, KS, and her sister, Sue and her husband Mark Tracy of Argonia, KS. She is also survived by her her daughter, Sherry McCollum of Erie, KS and son, Rick and his wife Keri Stewart of Chanute, KS. Linda's memory will be cherished by her grandchildren: Patrick and his wife Michelle Skog of Elk City, KS, Michael and his wife Jessica Yarnell of Erie, KS and Alena Woods of Chanute, KS.
