Louis “Fuzzy” Victor Michael Davis, 70 of Independence, Kansas passed away at his home on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
Fuzzy was born on November 13, 1950 in Independence, Kansas to Emanuel and Nettie (Wright) Davis. He attended the Independence school system. Through the years, Fuzzy worked various jobs around Independence. He married Betty Brown in December of 1980 in Miami, Oklahoma. The two later divorced. Fuzzy loved cooking, fishing and spending time with his family.
Fuzzy is preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Nettie Wright, son, Maurice Landis, brothers, Terry Davis, Bobby Davis, Richard Davis and Timothy Davis, and grandson, Joseph Irwin.
His memory will carry on with his son, Michael Davis of Texas, step son, Scott Irwin of Texas, brothers, Ronnie Davis of Coffeyville, and William Turner of Independence, sisters, Linda Ellerbe of North Carolina, and Ruby Preston of California, and six grandchildren. A Celebration of Fuzzy’s Life will be held at Webb and Rodrick Chapel on Thursday, May 20th at 10:00 AM. To leave the family a special message of condolence, please visit, www.webbrodrickchapel.com.
