Marcus D'Angelo Brown, 29, of Independence, Kansas passed away on July 28,2018.

Marcus was born March 1,1989 in Bartlesville, OK to Hope Angela Brown and Christopher Johnson.
He attended the Independence, KS school system. Marcus later attended Auto Mechanics trade school in South Dakota.

He was a member of the Berean Christian Mission Church. During early childhood years Marcus heavily participated in City Rec sports. Marcus also enjoyed listening to music and working on older cars but his greatest joy was spending time with his kids, family and friends.

Marcus is survived by children, Mya Nicole Brown, Malik Javon Brown, Tanieca Sharee Brown, Tykell Ravaughn Brown, and Wanetta Breeze McCutcheon; Parent, Hope Angela Henderson; Brothers, Jamal Brown, and Ryan Crenshaw. Maternal Aunts and Uncles; Vasco Brown, Vanessa Shepherd, John Mack Brown, Geri Brooks (Maynard), Delmar Brown, and DeWayne Brown. Paternal Aunts and Uncle, Myra Johnson, April Ingram, Nina Walker, Patricial Platt, and Richard Johnson; Close family friends, Trista Craft & family, Terry Crenshaw, and Michelle White. Marcus is Proceeded in death by father Christopher Johnson; Uncle Wilbur Vincent Brown; Aunt Casandra Stallings; Maternal Grandparents William, and Eva Brown; Paternal Grandparents Richard and Ina Johnson.

Visitation will be held at Webb and Rodrick Chapel on Friday, August 3rd from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the family will be greeting friends and family from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Services will be at the Berean Christian Mission Center in Independence, KS on Saturday, August 4th at 10:00 AM, with burial following at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence, KS.
