Mark Brewer

Mark Brewer passed in peace Saturday June 9, 2018 in Independence KS, at the age of 55. He was a loving father and companion. But most of all, he was a rock star. He had the biggest heart and rocked everybody he knew. He had a huge personality and a contagious smile. His passion was the drums and his life was music.
Mark Brewer was born July 3rd 1962 in Torrance CA, to Ray and Hilda Brewer. He was the baby of two older brothers Danny and Ray and two older sisters Wanda and Barbara. He played in the high school band where he learned his passion was drums.
In 1983 he married Vicky and they had a little girl named Mauri. He moved to Kansas in 1986. Later he married Rachel and had two boys named Mark and Brett. He also fathered a step son named Scott.
In June of 2014 he met Cheri who he lived with up until his passing. They loved and took care of each other and recently bought a home together.
He has worked at VT Hackney for the last four years and recently just became the Area Coordinator there. He took pride in his work and everybody loved to have him as a coworker. He loved what did and was very good at. He seemed to really be finding his place in life and was in an amazing band called the Second Chance Band.
He made an imprint on everyone's heart that loved him and will forever be missed.
Left behind were five grandchildren Johnny, Dillon, Chance, Legacy, and Kale.
Funeral services will be held at Webb & Rodrick funeral home in Independence KS, on June 23rd at 12pm. Please come celebrate his life with us.
