Nirmala Patel

Nirmala Jayendra Patel, 73 of Neodesha, Kansas passed away unexpectedly at Labette Health in Independence on Thursday, June 30, 2021.

Nirmala was born on November 13, 1947, in Ahmedabab, India to Lalabhai and Maniben Patel. She graduated from Navachetan High School in 1963. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Economics from Gujaret Law College in India. In 1966 Nirmala married Jayendra in India. The two lived to Africa for a period of time before making their home in the United States in June of 2001. Nirmala worked at Pizza Hut in Independence and Neodesha for 20 years. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lalabhai and Maniben Patel, brothers, Gunavan and Hiralal Patel, and grandson, Subham Patel.

Survivors include her husband, Jayendra Patel, son, Ronak Patel, daughter, Rachana Patel, brother, Sunil Patel, sisters, Niru and Daksha Patel, grandchildren, Masum, Yogi, and Prit Patel and one great grandchild, Man Patel.
