Patrick O. Fowler 75, of Elk City, Kansas passed away quietly in his home on Tuesday December 26, 2023, with his wife Reunae and daughter Stacy by his side. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024 at The First Christian Church in Elk City, Kansas with Randy Beeman officiating.
Patrick was born March 16, 1948, to Violet (Suttee) and Paul Fowler. Patrick was one of nine children and spent most of his life in the Elk City area, where he also retired.
Patrick was a Jack of all trades, working many different jobs such as IMCO in Neodesha, and the Parsons Ammunition Plant, owned and operated a mechanic shop and assisted in another with the late Don Wood. But his passion was his trucking company “Fowler Trucking” which he owned and operated for over 25 years.
Patrick and his friends started the “Toys for Tots” program in Elk City until he was no longer able to continue due to health issues, he then passed it on to a great group of people. He was also a member of the Buxton Christian Church.
Patrick is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Violet Fowler, a stillborn brother and brothers Jimmy, Tommy, Newel Jordan, and Ray Fowler, daughter Charlena, and grandson Bradley.
Patrick is survived by his wife Ruenae Fowler of Elk City, daughter Stacy Hernandez of Elk City, two sons Patrick (George) Fowler of Elk City; and Leslie (Katrina) Jay of Elk City, two brothers Tony (Mickey) Fowler of Elk City; and E.R. Fowler of Elk City, one sister Paula Fowler of Independence, ten grandchildren; Sierra Condon of Independence, Chantell Peterson(Bryce) of Elk City, Justin Cox (Amber) of Aurora Nebraska, Jake Jones of Tulsa OK, Rhianna Jay of Pittsburg, Kansas, Ember, Ewin, Killan Jay of Elk City, Lestat Fowler of Elk City, DeAndrea O’shields of Independence. Sixteen great grandchildren; Trista, Ava, Tommy Jr., Winston, Jayda, Jaxon, Camdon, Conner, Jasper, Theo, Thomas, Timothy, Anna, Emmet, Eddy, and Emery.
