Robert Andrews

Robert L. Andrews, 83 passed away June 1, 2018. He was born December 22, 1934 in Lamar, Missouri to Herbert Andrews and Clona Aldeen Andrews. He proudly served in the National Guard and retired from Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marcialee McLaren; son, Jack Robert Andrews; daughter, Jana Lynn Andrews; first wife, Doris Dean Powell; and beloved dog, Truffles.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginger" Andrews of Rockport, TX; son, David Lee Andrews (Donna) of Rockport, TX; daughter, Diana Keena of Winnsboro, TX; step son, Jay Starr (Kim) of Canton, TX; sister, Carol Sue Kemp (Tom) of Rockport, TX; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his dog, Greta.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, KS. Friends are invited to sign the register and greet the family on Monday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Webb & Rodrick Chapel. A Memorial Service was held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes in Aransas Pass, Texas 78336.
