Ronald E. The Rock Robertson, 31, of Independence, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in Severy, Kansas due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2014 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Independence, Kansas with Pastor Terry Marta of the Elk City Church of the Nazarene officiating. Cremation will follow the celebration service. The family asks that you wear your K.U., KState or Kansas City Chiefs appeal to the Celebration of Life Service in remembrance of Ronald. The family will greet visitors 2:00 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Webb Rodrick Chapel and Crematory. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the family for a memorial fund to be established for Damion Robertson and may be left with Webb Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.
Ronald was born August 30, 1983 in Cherryvale, Kansas to Harold Dean and Kathy Elizabeth Davis Robertson. Ronald grew up in the southeast Kansas area attending Southeast Kansas schools and Graduating from Thayer High School in 2003. Following High School Ronald worked for the Thayer Schools as a janitor following that he was employed by several other employers through Southeast Kansas and was currently employed by WalMart in Independence, Kansas. On June 30, 2012 Ronald married Diana Stahl in Independence, Kansas. Diana also passed away in the same accident.
Ronald was a member of the First Christian Church. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs, Nascar Racing fan, KState and K.U Fan and was a great Father, Uncle and Friend to many. He never met a stranger and was willing to give anything to help anyone who might be in need.
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Diana grandparents, Joseph and Vera Davis, Cecil and Velma Robertson and one aunt, Nancy Ellen Davis. Survivors include his son, Damion Robertson, of the home three step children, Paul Barris, Eric Stahl and Kira Stahl all of the home parents, Dean and Kathy Robertson of Thayer, Kansas two sisters, La Deana Jeremy Thorton of Thayer, Kansas, Alicia Buddy Grossman of Independence, Kansas two brothers, Robbie Brandi Robertson of Parsons, Kansas, Joe Helen Robertson of Altamont, Kansas four nieces seven nephews one great nephew, and numerous aunts , uncles, cousins and friends.
