Sarah Munson-Kelly

Ms. Sarah Janae Munson-Kelly, 35, of Independence, Kansas passed away on December 25, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri after a short illness. Sarah was born on December 6, 1983 in Downey, California to Reverend Bill Munson, and the late Janet Munson. At an early age, Sarah professed her faith in Jesus Christ and followed her parents as they pastored churches in California, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan before settling in Kansas in 2009. She also lived in Florida for a short period of her life.
Sarah enjoyed spending time with her five children, her friends, and her family. She earned the title "Karaoke Master", as she thoroughly enjoyed music and was known as a social butterfly among her many friends. She also loved being an aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 11th from 5:00-7:00 pm at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory in Independence, Kansas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12th at 12:00 in the afternoon at The First Baptist Church in Independence. The family will greet friends on Saturday at the church one hour prior to service time. Should friends desire, contributions can be left with the funeral home to benefit her five children.
Sarah was preceded in death by her beautiful mother, Janet Munson, her grandmother and grandfather, Reverend Jerry and Wanda Osborne, grandmother Verna Alcott, grandfather Virgil Munson, and her Uncle Bob Munson.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her five children: Trinity, Israel, Jordan, and Ava Rodriguez, and Eli Kelly; her loving father: Reverend Bill Munson; her three siblings: Jeremy (Michelle) Munson of Independence, KS, Jared (Jennifer) Munson of Dallas, GA, and Bethany (David) Silva of Independence, KS, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
