Tina Vaughn

Tina Marie (Powell) Vaughn born in Dayton, Ohio on Dec 8th, 1961 passed away peacefully with family at her side on Feb 28th, 2022.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Saturday, March 5th, 2022 at the Nazarene Church of Elk City at 11:00am. Visitation will be held, Friday, March 4th from 1:00-7:00pm, with family greeting friends 5:00-7:00pm at Webb and Rodrick Chapel.

Tina was the daughter of Charles “Jack” and Joyce Powell. She attended Dixie High School in New Lebanon, OH and graduated in 1980. Tina moved to Kansas in 1992. Tina has resided in Elk City, KS since 1996.

Tina married Timothy “Tim” Vaughn in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on June 11th, 2005. The couple had four children Lucas, Brandee, Brooke & Brandon.

Tina was a member of ABATE district 3, she enjoyed riding her harley along side her husband Tim. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids. Tina loved listening to music and she loved working in the medical field where she was an ER tech for several years and loved it. Tina had a green thumb and loved her plants. She loved her candles and anything that smells good!

Tina is survived by her husband Tim, daughters: Brandee Rosenhoover and Brooke Aemisegger (Matt) and son Brandon Grimes; grandchildren Jayden Rosenhoover, Waylon Aemisegger and (unborn) Weston Aemisegger; sister Ruby Charmaine Powell and brother Denny Powell. Plus several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Tina is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Joyce Powell, son Lucas Vaughn, maternal and paternal grandparents, brothers Scott and Kenny Powell.
