William Gooldy

William Hall Gooldy, 85, Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Green Country Care Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas.
William was born March 23, 1933 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to J.R and Ruth (Sullivan) Gooldy. He graduated from Independence, Kansas High School and received his B.A. and M.I.A. from the University of Tulsa. William married Frances Aringdale on February 17, 1952 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was employed as a Speech Pathologist by Tulsa Public Schools and later in private practice. William was a member of Oklahoma Speech and Hearing Association and American Speech and Language and Hearing Association.
William was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Frances. Those left to honor his memory include one son Robin Gooldy, Owasso, Oklahoma; and two grandsons, Jason Gooldy, and Ray Gooldy both of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to The First United Methodist Church to be used for the Scholarship Fund and may be left with the chapel.
