William Kinnamon

William "Bill" Robert Kinnamon, passed away March 16, 2015. He was born November 1, 1922 to Albert and Jenny Pearl (Pierce) Kinnamon in Longton, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his wife Leona and brother Edward. Although originally from this area Bill and Leona moved to Chesterfield, Michigan in the 1940's to be near his mother Pearl when his step father, who was in the military and was stationed in Michigan was sent to Germany, where he died. After they raised their two daughters Bill, Leona, and Pearl all moved back to Independence in the early 1970's where they lived for the rest of their lives.
He is survived by daughters Margie (Richard) Rother of Spokane, Washington and Marilyn (Richard) Thomas of Algonac, Michigan, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, his second wife Helen, brother and sister in-law Donald and Twila Kinnamon, and sister in law Troula Kinnamon, four nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Honoring Bills wishes cremation will take place and the family will hold a memorial at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Webb & Rodrick Chapel & Crematory.
